The Dragon's War, also known by Aldrich Common Core Forces and its subjects as the Dragonslayer's Reunion, was a massive 4 year between the attacking House Aldrich and the defending Dragon's Commune. The war lasted from 2890 of March to 2894 of April, leading straight into the third Universal War which left the Dragon's Commune wide open to assault from the Communion of One and continued attack by House Aldrich.

The Dragon's War was seen as a pivotal change in the galatic stage, before the Dragon's Commune stood as the strongest and most militarily ready of all the empires. However, due to a moment of genius by Queen Elizabeth Rhinehold. Due to the way that the Dragon's Commune's conscripted forces work, if a breach was forced open they'd have a hard time opening it back up. She also took advantage of the fact that most heavier class ships have limited space for maneuvering before they're pulled into planetary bodies, she took advantage of natural chokepoints to stab open a hole using the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Royal Blades alongside their adjoining CCM forces of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th, 20th companies to create a hole. The rest of the reserves pushed in and in one single blow sent off a planet cracker.

New Nagasaki lasted two weeks before being hit and cracked wide open, killing the 20 billion citizens. With central command down, the Emperor dead, most soldiers of the Dragon turned to suicide charges. Ships of 5 to 15 would charge headlong into the advancing lances of House Aldrich, obliterating themselves before even getting close to the larger dreadnoughts and capital ships.

The fighting and charges continued for 3 more years until the Third Universal War began and the Communion of One launched its surprise invasion and the biggest surprise, the United Militia Systems allied with the Dragon's Commune and sent their Federal Star Military forces and through enacted subsidies, UMS mercenary companies were willing to be hired by the Dragon's Commune for cut prices.

The Dragon's war spelled the end of the domination of the Dragon's Commune. The destruction of their capital planet, New Nagasaki, forced the citizens and its warriors to re-examine their ways of life.

House Aldrich reinstated itself as the largest power among the Empire States. However, numbers wise they fared barely better than the Dragon's Commune, especially once the Third Universal War started. The liberation of original Aldrich planets and the planet cracker sent more of a morale and symbolic victory.

The ultimate victors in all of this once everything is said and done, considering the Third Universal War, were the Communion of One and United Militia Systems who waited and struck at the most opportune time.
